American actor and TV director Scott Vincent James Baio was born 65 years ago in Brooklyn, New York, is married and has 2 children.
Scott’s first acting debut was in the musical ‘Bugsy Malone’ in 1976, alongside actress Jodie Foster. Later that year, he became part of the cast of the famous series ‘Happy Days’, interpreting the character of Chachi Arcola, Fonzie’s cousin, in a total of 130 episodes between 1977 and 1984.
Apart from ‘Happy Days’, Scott also took part in a few TV movies, acted in the spin-off series ‘Joanie loves Chachi’ as well as starred in a few episodes of TV series like ‘Love Boat’, ‘Fantasy Island’ and ‘The Fall Guy’.
Between 1984 and 1990, Scott had the lead role in the sitcom ‘Charles in Charge’. For the rest of the 90s, he appeared in various TV shows and movies, was cast in the series ‘Diagnosis: Murder’ alongside Dick Van Dyke and guest-starred in several sitcoms like ‘Full House’, ‘The Nanny’ and ‘Touched by an Angel’, amongst others. He also directed several episodes of 17 TV productions he acted in. In the last 25 years, Scott acted in 9 movies and 11 TV productions.
During his career so far, Baio received 5 awards: 2 Young Artist, 2 TV Land and a San Diego International Film Festival Festival Award.
