American actress and former model Susan Walters was born 60 years ago in Chamblee, Georgia, is married to actor Linden Ashby and has 2 daughters.
Susan started modelling at the age of 18 as well as taking acting lessons. She also did some auditions and appeared in several commercials. The following year, Susan’s career took off when she was selected to star as Lorna Forbes Perelli in the then popular soap opera ‘Loving’, which ran between 1983 and 1986. Her big screen debut arrived in 1987 when she was cast in the movie ‘Russkies’.
During the 80s, film and TV producer Aaron Spelling appointed Walters to act in some of his TV productions such as ‘Hotel’, ‘Nightingales’ and ‘Melrose Place’. In the next decade, Susan proceeded with her career and starred in numerous series like ‘Dear John’, ‘CSI: Miami’, ‘Murder, She Wrote’ and ‘Seinfield’.
Since the year 2000, Susan starred in 10 films, over 35 TV series, soap operas and made-for-TV movies. To name a few: ‘Slow Moe’, ‘Grape’, ‘Aftermath’, ‘The Young and the Restless’, ‘Cold Case’, ‘The Vampire Diaries’, ‘Reckless’ and ‘The Rookie’.
