American actor Sean Harland Murray was born on 15th November 1977 in Bethesda, Maryland, is married and has 2 children.
When he was still a young kid, Sean wanted to be an actor. At 11 years old, he managed to get a role as an extra in the movie ‘My Blue Heaven’ alongside Steve Martin and Joan Cusack.
As a teenager and during his 20s, Sean starred mainly in TV movies and series such as ‘Backfield in Motion’, ‘Too Romantic’, ‘Hocus Pocus’, ‘ER’, ‘The Lottery’, ‘JAG’ and ‘Touched by an Angel’.
He is probably best known for being one of the main protagonists of the military/police drama ‘NCIS’, playing the character of Timothy McGee. This series has been running since 2003 till the present day with over 400 episodes. The producer of this popular series, Donald P. Bellisario, happens to be Sean’s stepfather. Troian, his stepsister, also acts in ‘NCIS’ starring as his sister.
