English-Australian singer and TV personality Peter Andre` was born 50 years ago as Peter James Andrea in Harrow, London, is married and has 4 children.
Peter moved to Australia with his family at the age of 6. When he was 14 years old, he participated in a dancing competition, arriving 2nd and 2 years later, he contested in a talent show where he was offered with a recording contract. At the time, Peter still attended high school.
Andre` then travelled to the UK to record 2 songs – his debut single ‘Drive me Crazy’ and the hit ‘Gimme little Sign’ which placed 3rd on the Australian charts. In 1996, Peter released his second album which featured the number two UK hit ‘Mysterious Girl’. From that year til 2015, Andre` had 12 more albums and 18 singles.
Apart from singing, Peter appeared in TV commercials and numerous TV programmes including game, reality and talent shows. He also starred in 2 movies and performed in a musical.
During his career, Andre` received 3 Aria Music and a World Music Award.
