
English actress Stephanie Beacham was born 76 years ago in Barnet, Hertfordshire and has 2 daughters.
As a child, she attended grammar school and later studied mime in France. Afterwards, she attended a Dramatic Art school. Being partially deaf, her first aim was to teach dancing to deaf kids, but instead started a modelling career, followed by TV acting.
Stephanie’s debut role was as Queen Mary in the TV series ‘The Queen’s Traitor’ back in 1967. More TV series roles followed, and in 1970 she starred in two movies named ‘The Games’ and ‘Tam Lin’. For the rest of the 70s until the mid 80s, she continued to act in various movies, particularly horror, in TV series as well as on stage.
Stephanie was then cast in two popular American soap operas, namely ‘Dynasty’ and ‘The Colbys’ as well as the famous TV series ‘The Love Boat’, ‘Beverly Hills 90210’, ‘Burke’s Law’ and ‘Charmed’.
In the last 4 decades, Beacham starred in 19 movies, 30 TV shows, 17 theatrical plays and 3 pantomimes. She also published a book, voiced a video game character and appeared in a music video. In 2009, Stephanie introduced to the market a beauty products and skincare range which was very successful. Beacham also supports various charitable organisations.
During her career, Stephanie was nominated 4 times for different awards but never won any.
