American actor and producer Vin Diesel was born as Mark Sinclair) on 18th July 1967 in Alameda County, California, is in a relationship and has 3 children.
At the age of 7, Vin took part in a children’s play in a New York theatre and continued performing in stage productions when he was in his teens. He then went to college where he studied creative writing and eventually screenwriting.
In 1990, he had a minor, unacknowledged role in the movie ‘Awakenings’ and in the 4 years that followed, he had a hard time to obtain a part. So, he thought of writing, producing, directing and act, first in a short film named ‘Multi-facial’ and then in a ‘normal’ length film, but although they competed in 2 different film festivals, they both failed.
Vin’s luck changed in 1998, when he casted in the movie ‘Saving Private Ryan’. This was his first major debut in Hollywood. In the year 2000, Vin starred in 2 movies, one as a supporting actor and the other as a leading one. But real stardom peaked in the following 2 years with ‘The Fast & the Furious’ and ‘XXX’ movies, with Diesel becoming an action hero.
In the last 2 decades, Vin starred in over 20 films. He has recently appeared in as well as produced ‘Fast X’ (also known as Fast and Furious 10), once again portraying the character of Dominic Toretto. He also voiced several characters in animated movies and TV productions.
In 2020, since filming had to stop in view of the pandemic, he turned to music and released 2 singles named ‘Feel like I do’ and ‘Days are Gone’.
So far, Vin received a total of 8 awards. He has also founded a film production company, a record label company and a video game developer.
