American actress Gwyneth Kate Paltrow Falchuk was born on 27th September 1972 in Los Angeles, California, is married and has 2 children. She is also a singer, model, businesswoman and author.
After attending private school, she went to university to study art history, however, she left to start an acting career. She was influenced by her dad who was a film director and producer as well as her mum who was an actress.
‘High’ was the first movie Gwyneth acted in, directed by her father in 1989, and a year later performed in a theatre festival. During the rest of the 90s, Gwyneth starred in numerous films of different genres, such as ‘Shout’, Hook’, ‘Cruel Doubt’, ‘Deadly Intentions’, ‘Flesh and Bone’ and ‘Se7en’ alongside her then boyfriend Brad Pitt.

Paltrow is an active philanthropist and supports various charitable organisations like the Robin Hood Foundation regarding poverty in New York as well as Save the Children Fund which works to raise awareness about pneumonia in children. She also published 5 books and was the face in commercials of various famous brands.
