TODAY'S CELEBRITY BIRTHDAY... DWIGHT SCHULZ

American actor William Dwight Schultz was born on 24th November 1947 in Baltimore, Maryland, is married and has a daughter.

During the 70s, Schultz performed in 3 Broadway stage productions and his big screen debut was in the movie ‘The Fan’ back in 1981.  This was followed by another film ‘Alone in the Dark’ a year later.  During those 2 years, Dwight also appeared in several episodes of various TV series like ‘Hill Street Blues’, ‘CHiPS’, ‘Standing Room Only’ and ‘Nurse’.

Then, in 1983, Schulz was cast in one of the most popular TV series of the 80s, ‘The A-Team’, and rose to international fame when he interpreted Captain ‘Howling Mad’ Murdock.  This series ran for 4 years with a total of 97 episodes.

Until 2010, Dwight starred in 5 more films, amongst which there were ‘Star Trek: First Contact’ and ‘The A-Team’.  Additionally, Schultz provided voice roles in several movies like ‘Van Helsing: The London Assignment’, ‘Ultimate Avengers 2’, ‘Batman: Under the Red Hood’ and ‘Deep’, to name a few.

Dwight proceeded with his acting career and starred in numerous famous TV series and films namely ‘Perry Mason’, ‘Child of Rage’, ‘Flipper’, ‘Touched by an Angel’ and ‘Walker, Texas Ranger’, amongst others.  He also voiced over 85 video games characters and more than 35 animated TV series characters. More recently, he also hosted and was a guest in some radio shows.
