American actor and writer Bruce William Boxleitner was born 73 years ago in Elgin, Illinois, is married and has 3 children.
As a kid, Bruce attended high school and then proceeded with his studies at a drama school. His career started in 1973 when he appeared in an episode of a sitcom series. During the rest of the 70s, he starred in more TV series/movies as well as some films. These include ‘Sixpack Annie’, ‘Hawaii Five-O’, ‘Police Woman’, ‘A Cry for Help’ and ‘Happily Ever After’. He is however, mostly known for his leading role in the Western TV series ‘How the West was Won’.
In the next decade, Bruce continued with his acting career and starred in numerous productions, mainly made-for-TV films and TV series. For 4 years, he was one of the main protagonists of the series ‘Scarecrow and Mrs King’ alongside actress Kate Jackson. Then, from 1994 to 1998, he had a leading role in the famous series ‘Babylon 5’, plus other parts in several TV series and TV movies and 5 big screen appearances.
