American singer Christopher Joseph Isaak was born 67 years ago in Stockton, California and is single. He is also a songwriter, guitarist and actor.
Chris attended high school, then college, followed by university where he obtained a degree in English and communications arts. He formed his first band named ‘Silvertone’ after graduating from college.
Isaak embarked on a solo career in 1985 and released his debut album, which although was successful, did not sell that well. Two songs from this album were used in the movie ‘Blue Velvet’ in 1986. A second album followed in 1987, plus a soundtrack album the year after, recorded purposely for the film ‘Married to the Mob’.
His third album, released in 1989, featured his probably most famous song ‘Wicked Game’. It was also recorded in an instrumental version and used in the movie ‘Wild at Heart’. This track also was very requested on the radio and became a major hit.
From the 90s to date, Chris released 18 albums, 32 singles and 19 music videos. He also collaborated with several artists by singing in duet with them as well as composing songs. Apart from music, Isaak acted in a few films and also appeared in several TV programmes and shows.
During his career, Chris was honoured in with 11 awards, including 3 MTV Video Music and 4 California Music.
