Goldie Jeanne Hawn was born 77 years ago in Washington D.C, USA, and is an actress and producer as well as singer and dancer. She has been in a long-term relationship with actor Kurt Russell and has 3 children.
When she was 3 years old, Goldie started taking ballet and tap dance lessons and participated in a ballet production. Many years later, at the age of 19, she took part in a theatrical play as one of the main protagonists.
At the time, Goldie was attending university studying drama, but she quit and instead managed a school of ballet as well as gave dancing lessons. She became a professional dancer and appeared in a musical as well as danced in some nightclubs.
Hawn’s acting debut was starring in a sitcom in 1967/8, but international fame arrived when she was cast in a sketch comedy show for 5 years, and she became very popular. By the early 70s, she acted in 4 movies, and ‘Cactus Flower’ was the film in which she had a major role.
