Last Saturday night marked the triumph of Swiss singer NEMO who won the 68th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest held in Malmo, Sweden.
The 25 countries that competed in the final were:
Sweden, Norway, Finland, Croatia, Italy, UK, France, Cyprus, Ukraine, Germany, Austria, Serbia, Estonia, Armenia, Spain, Portugal, Slovenia, Israel, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Ireland, Greece, Georgia, Switzerland and Latvia.
SWITZERLAND won the contest with a total of 591 points with the song ‘The Code‘.
CROATIA, who was represented by singer Baby Lasagna with the track ‘Rim Tim Tagi Dim‘, arrived 2nd, obtaining 547 points
UKRAINE arrived in 3rd place with 435 points and was represented by singers Alyona Alyona & Jerry Heil who interpreted the song ‘Teresa & Maria‘.
Switzerland has participated 63 times in the ESC, with the first appearance in 1956 and won first place thrice (including this year).
