Last week, the 72nd edition of the San Remo Song Contest took place at the usual Teatro Ariston, presented for the 3rd consecutive year by one of the most loved presenters of RAI, Amadeus.
This prestigious event was broadcasted over 5 days on Rai Uno, the final being held on Saturday 5th February.
25 singers/groups participated in this song contest, and was won by Mahmoud & Blanco with the song ‘Brividi’, followed by
Elisa with the song ‘O forse sei Tu’ and Gianni Morandi with the song ‘Apri tutte le Porte’ in 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
The winning song ‘Brividi’ will be representing Italy in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in May.
