Jon Bon Jovi (born as John Francis Bongiovi Jr) was born 60 years ago in New Jersey, USA. He is married to Dorothea Hurley and has 4 children.
In 1983, Jon created the famous rock band Bon Jovi, of which he is the lead singer. They released numerous hits including ‘You Give love a bad name’. ‘Livin’ on a Prayer’, ‘Always’, ‘Blaze of Glory’, ‘It’s my life’, which were all a huge success for the band.
Apart from singing, Jon is also a guitarist and writes songs. He also took part in various movies and TV shows and is also an active philanthropist. In fact, in 2006 the Bon Jovi Soul Foundation was founded, supporting and helping the poor and homeless.
