Chuck (born as Carlos Ray) Norris was born 82 years ago in Oklahoma, USA. He has married twice and has 5 children. Apart from being an actor, he is also a film producer, screen writer as well as a martial artist.
He is a black belt and won several championships in martial arts as well as many awards. Chuck also founded the Chun Kuk Do discipline. In 1972, Norris starred alongside friend and actor Bruce Lee in the movie ‘Way of the Dragon’ and also took part in a couple of other films in 1977 and 1978. These led him to become a famous action movie star and encouraged him to act in many other films in the years that followed. Then, in 1993, he had the leading role in the series ‘Walker Texas Ranger’ which was very popular and ran until 2001. After that, his movie career continued to flourish and in fact is still active till the present day.
