Andrew Roy Gibb, better known as Andy Gibb, was born on 5th March 1958 and died on 10th March 1988, at just 30 years old.
He was English and had 4 siblings, 3 of whom are the members of the famous 70’s group Bee Gees. Andy was married but later divorced, and has a daughter.
Melody Fayre was the first group formed by Gibb in 1974 and a couple of years later he joined the band Zenta. Success arrived from 1976 onwards after releasing as a solo artist, ‘I just want to be your everything’, ‘Love is thicker than water’ and ‘ Shadow dancing’ which were all number 1 hits.
Andy starred in some movies and also hosted the TV show ‘Solid Gold’. He died in 1988 from myocarditis, after many years of drug abuse.
