Christopher Ashton Kutcher was born 45 years ago in Iowa State, USA, is married and has 2 children. He is an actor, producer, former model and businessman.
As a kid, Ashton attended 2 different high schools and whilst there he started showing interest in acting and took part in school plays. In later years, he went to university to study biochemical engineering.
One day, a model scout approached him and encouraged him to enter a modelling competition. He succeeded in winning first place, the prize being a trip to a modelling convention in New York. Afterwards, he made a contract with another modelling agency and appeared in commercials as well as modelled in big fashion cities like Milan and Paris.
Once finished, he returned home and eventually moved to Los Angeles to embark on an acting career. Between 1998 and 2006, Ashton acted in a TV series teen sitcom as well as starred in various comedy films like ‘Dude, where’s my car?’, ‘Just Married’, ‘The Butterfly Effect’ and ‘Guess Who’. In addition, in 2003, Kutcher produced and starred in a ‘candid camera’ TV show named ‘Punk’d’ and continued with more productions in the years that followed.
In 2011, Ashton replaced Charlie Sheen in the famous sitcom ‘Two and a half Men’ and continued in this role until the series ended in 2015. In the last 7 years, Kutcher appeared in several other TV series and shows, both as guest and actor.
Apart from acting, Ashton is also a businessman and is known to have invested in different start-up companies as well as various restaurants. In 2009, he founded an international anti-human trafficking organisation particularly concerning children.
During his career, Kutcher received 18 awards, including 15 Teen Choice and a Hollywood Film.
