Walter Bruce Willis was born on 19th March 1955 in Idar-Oberstein, West Germany. He married twice and has 5 children.
In the early 80’s, he took part in a few movies and then, between 1985 and 1989, he starred alongside Cybill Shepherd in the drama-comedy series Moonlighting, in which he had a leading role and made him famous. He even recorded a solo album in the late 80’s which was of fair success. Bruce became a real movie star with the films ‘Die Hard’, ‘Die Hard 2’ and ‘Die Hard with a Vengeance’, released in 1988, 1990 and 1995 respectively.
In the next three decades, Bruce continued acting in numerous films and to date has starred in over 70 movies. To name a few: ‘Striking Distance’, The Jackal’, ‘Twelve Monkeys’. ‘The Fifth Element’, ‘The Sixth Sense’ and ‘The Whole Nine Yards’.
Willis also won several awards including one Golden Globe and two Emmy Awards.
