Christopher Robert Evans was born 42 years ago in Boston, Massachusetts, USA and is an actor.
When he was a kid, Chris showed interest in theatre and even took part in a musical. He also went to an acting camp and during the summer holidays attended acting classes prior to returning to high school and eventually graduating.
In 1997, he appeared for the very first time in an educational movie and 2 years later played as one of the characters in a board game. In 2000, he moved to Los Angeles and went on to act in a family drama TV movie, followed by a lead role in a series. In the next few years, Chris starred in a couple of teen movies and also an action-thriller film.
Until 2010, Evans acted in various films of different genres, however, none of them reached the expected success. His career then took a positive turn when that year he was offered a comics character role i.e. Steve Rogers better known as Captain America, which movie was a box-office hit, so much so that 4 sequels were released in the last decade and likewise were extremely successful. Chris also starred in other films as well including ‘Before we Go’, ‘Playing it Cool’, ‘Knives Out’ and ‘Ghosted’, to name a few.
During his career so far, Evans received 7 awards, amongst which there are 2 Teen Choice, a Kids’ Choice and an MTV Movie & TV. Chris is also a philanthropist and greatly supports a charity regarding families who have children suffering from cancer.
