Holly Johnson was born in Liverpool, England 62 years ago and has 3 siblings.
He is best known as the lead singer of the band ‘Frankie goes to Hollywood’. Apart from being a musician, he is also an artist and a writer.
The band’s most popular songs are undoubtedly ‘Relax’, ‘The Power of Love’, ‘Two Tribes’ and ‘Welcome to the Pleasuredome’.
Johnson joined the group in 1982 and flew to stardom in 1984 with the number one hit ‘Relax’, however, in 1987 he left the group due to disagreements with the other members of the band and started a solo career in 1989 which continued until the mid 1990’s. He then started working as a painter and is still active to the present day.
