American actress, producer, director and singer Jennifer Love Hewitt was born 46 years ago in Waco, Texas, is married and has 3 children.
By the time she was 9 years old, Jennifer had already sung in a livestock show and in a dance hall, learnt ballet and tap dancing and joined the Texas Show Team and went on tour with them. She also appeared in over 20 TV adverts.
Together with her mum, Jennifer moved to Los Angeles with the intention of embarking on an acting and singing career and there she also attended high school. Hewitt became a child actress at the age of 10 when she was cast in the variety show ‘Kids Incorporated’ for 2 years. In 1992, she made her big screen debut in the short film ‘Dance! Workout with Barbie’.
After appearing in a few movies and TV series, Jennifer rose to stardom, becoming a teen idol when she was given the main role in the drama TV series ‘Party of Five’, in which she acted for 5 seasons. Over the years, she starred in numerous roles in both movies and TV productions and became an established actress. Some of these include: ‘I Know what you did last Summer’ and its sequel, ‘The Tuxedo’, ‘Heartbreakers’, ‘If Only’, ‘Cafe`’, ‘Time of your Life’, ‘The Audrey Hepburn Story’, ‘Ghost Whisperer’, ‘The Client List’, ‘Criminal Minds’ and ‘9-1-1’. She has also produced and directed some of these movies/TV productions as well as lent her voice to animated characters. In addition, Jennifer will be starring in an upcoming movie which is still untitled, but is the 4th movie of the franchise ‘I Know what you did last Summer’. It is expected to be released coming July.
Apart from acting, Jennifer is also a singer and has released 4 studio and 2 compilation albums, 14 singles, 5 promotional singles and 7 music videos. She has also published 2 books.
During her career so far, Hewitt won 9 awards including 2 Saturn, a Young Artists and a Blockbuster Entertainment.
