American actress Morgan Fairchild was born 73 years ago as Patsy Ann McClenny in Dallas, Texas.
As a kid, Morgan appeared in a TV show and later as a teenager did several local TV commercials. Her first acting debut was in the 1967 movie ‘Bonnie & Clyde’ when she played main protagonist Faye Dunaway’s double. Then, between 1973 and 1977, she was cast in the soap opera ‘Search for Tomorrow’. Meanwhile, she also starred in several TV series like ‘Kojak’, ‘Happy Days’, the soap opera ‘Dallas’ and sitcom ‘Mork & Mindy’.
At the beginning of the 80s, Morgan secured an important role in the soap opera ‘Flamingo Road’, however, after 2 seasons, the soap was cancelled in view of poor ratings. For the rest of that decade, Fairchild continued with her acting career and starred in various TV shows and series, soap operas and even films. These include ‘The Love Boat’, ‘Simon & Simon’, ‘Magnum P.I.’, ‘Falcon Crest’, ‘Paper Dolls’, ‘North & South’, and ‘Blondes vs Brunettes’, amongst others.
In the last 30 years, Morgan starred in comedy films, sitcoms, more soap operas, theatrical productions and TV shows and became an established actress. To date, she starred in over 80 films and more than 70 TV productions.
For several years, Fairchild supported charitable organisations regarding AIDS and the environment, amongst others.
