Plastic Bertrand, real name Roger Francois Jouret, was born on 24th February 1954 in Brussels, Belgium. Apart from being a musician, he writes songs as well as produces and presents TV shows.
He started his singing career in 1977, and in 1978 released the song ‘Ca plane pour Moi’ which became a big hit internationally. In the following years, he took part in a few movies as well as produced and presented various TV shows.
In 1987, he participated in the Eurovision Song Contest, representing Luxembourg with the song ‘Amour, Amour’, however, it was not very successful. Then, in 1989, the song ‘Hula Hoop’ was released which was also a great hit for him. After that, he continued with writing and releasing songs and taking part in TV shows and is still currently active.
