Fabrizio Faniello was born 41 years ago in Floriana, Malta. He is the eldest brother of Claudia, also a singer, and Miriana.
When he was very young, Fabrizio showed that he was passionate about music and was encouraged by his teacher to take vocal lessons. Apart from music, he was also interested in football and in 1997 went to Turin, Italy and played there for 12 months.
Right after that, however, he decided to take a singing career and got back home to Malta. From 2001 to 2018, he released 6 albums and many singles. Most of his songs are written by German song writers.
Fabrizio participated twice in the Eurovision Song Contest, in 2001 and 2006, with the songs ‘Another Summer Night’ and ‘I Do’. They placed 9th and 24th respectively.
His main success is locally, however, his songs were released in many countries around Europe as well. In 2004, he had a top ten hit called ‘The Whistle Hit’ and another small chart hit a year later, both in Sweden.
