Luciano Ligabue, better known as Ligabue or Liga, was born on 13th March 1960 in Correggio, Italy. He is married and has 2 children.
In 1987, he founded the band Orazero to which he wrote various songs, participating in various contests. Then, in 1990, his own LP was released, leading him to stardom. In fact, he is considered to be one of the best Italian rock stars.
Apart from music, he also directed some films, amongst which there are ‘Radiofreccia’ in 1998 and ‘Da zero a dieci’ in 2002. The latter won him three David di Donatello awards.
Amongst his numerous songs, the most famous hits are ‘Certe Notti’ voted the ’90s Italian song’ and ‘Balliamo sul Mondo’.
