American actor, producer and singer Alford Corley was born 68 years ago in Wichita, Kansas, is divorced and has 3 children.
As a teenager, Al worked in a Broadway theatre and former night club to help him meet expenses regarding acting lessons. Then, at the beginning of the 80s, he joined the cast of the famous soap opera ‘Dynasty’ in which he played the role of Steve Carrington. Though the soap aired until 1989, Al left in 1982 as he stated that his character was ‘very serious’. He did, however, reprise the same role in the TV miniseries ‘Dynasty: The Reunion’ in 1991.
In 1983, he acted in another soap opera and during that decade also starred in 5 movies including ‘Torchlight’ and ‘Incident at Q’. Apart from acting, Corley also debuted as a singer and in 1984 released his first album which featured the European Top 20 hit single ‘Square Rooms’. Two more studio albums and 4 singles were released during the 80s.
During these last 3 decades, Al appeared in 8 films, out of which he also directed ‘Bigger than the Sky’ in 2005 and produced ‘Stolen’ in 2009. He also starred in 2 TV movies in the 90s. He is also cast in an upcoming movie named ‘The Ice Road 2: Road to the Sky’ which is the sequel of the 2021 movie ‘The Ice Road’.
