Italian singer-songwriter, rapper and record producer J-Ax was born 52 years ago as Alessandro Aleotti in Milan and is married.
In 1990, J-Ax founded the rap group ‘Articolo 31’ which became very popular and consequently rendered him famous. From 1993 to 2004, the band released 10 albums which featured numerous successful tracks. Then, in 2006, the band announced they were taking an indefinite break and consequently, J-AX left the group to pursue a solo career.
That same year, J-Ax released his debut album ‘Di sana pianta’ which featured 6 successful singles namely ‘Ti amo o ti ammazzo’, ‘S.N.O.B.’, ‘Acqua nella scuola’ , ‘Tua mamma’, ‘Escono i pazzi’ and ‘Piccoli per sempre’. From that year to date, 5 more albums were issued, and 39 singles. In 2010, he formed the band ‘Due di Picche’ with another Italian singer ‘Neffa’. He has also collaborated with other artists in their music projects.
Apart from music, J-Ax made cameo appearances in 3 films, had a leading role in a movie as well as voiced a couple of animated film characters. He acted as judge and coach in some music talent shows as well as hosted/presented 2 TV productions. J-Ax also published 4 books.
In his 34-year career, J-Ax won Un disco per l’estate, 2 MTV Hip Hop Awards, an MTV Europe Music Award and a TRL Award.
