Yesterday, Sunday 2nd March 2025, the 97th Annual Academy Awards prestigious event took place at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation in Hollywood, Los Angeles, and was hosted by actor, comedian, writer, producer and TV host Conan O’Brien. A total of 23 awards were presented during this evening.
During the evening, several guests gave their singing/dancing/music performances, including Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Conan O’Brien, Lisa, Doja Cat, Raye, Margaret Qualley, Queen Latifah and the Los Angeles Master Chorale.
The award for Best Actor went to Adrien Brody for his performance in ‘The Brutalist‘, whilst the award for Best Actress went to Mikey Madison for her performance in ‘Anora‘.
The Oscar for Best Supporting Actor went to Kieran Culkin for his interpretation in ‘A Real Pain’, whilst the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress was received by Zoe Saldana for her role in ‘Emilia Perez’.
The movie ‘Anora’ won the most number of awards i.e. 5 Oscars in the following categories: Best Actress, Best Picture, Best Directing, Best Writing (Original Screenplay) and Best Film Editing.

‘Flow‘ for Best Animated Feature Film

‘The Substance‘ for Best Makeup and Hairstyling
‘The I’m not a Robot‘ for Best Live Action Short Film
‘In the Shadow of the Cypress‘ for Best Animated Short Film
‘The Only Girl in the Orchestra‘ for Best Documentary Short Film
