American actor Chris O’Donnell was born 55 years ago as Christopher Eugene O’Donnell in Winnetka, Illinois, is married and has 5 children.
As a kid, Chris went to Catholic schools, then graduated from high school and continued his studies at university where he obtained a B.Sc in Marketing. At the age of 13, he started modelling and appeared in several commercials.
Chris’ acting career took off in 1986 when he was cast in a TV series called ‘Jack and Mike’. He debuted on the big screen in the 1990 comedy-drama film ‘Men Don’t Leave’ alongside Jessica Lange. For the rest of that decade, O’Donnell starred in 13 more movies, amongst which there are ‘Scent of a Woman’, ‘Blue Sky’, ‘Mad Love’, ‘Batman Forever’, ‘Batman and Robin’ and ‘The Bachelor’.
In the last 25 years, Chris had roles in 9 films and 16 TV productions, including mini-series, a short film and voicing animated movie characters. Between 2009 and 2023, O’Donnell interpreted the character of G. Callen in the military police procedural series ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ in a total of 323 episodes. Other productions he appeared in were ‘Two and a Half Men’, ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, ‘Hawaii Five-O’ and ‘The Price is Right’. Chris will be starring in an upcoming drama series named ‘9-1-1: Nashville’ which is expected to premiere later on this year.
During his career so far, Chris won 4 awards, including a Blockbuster Entertainment, a Chicago Film Critics’ Association, a ShoWest and was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
