American actress and producer Christina Ricci was born 45 years ago in Santa Monica California, is married and has 2 children.
As a kid, Christina attended 5 different schools since her family moved to different states. She once stated that she had a difficult childhood in view of her not-so-good relationship with her dad as well as her parents’ divorce.
When she was 8 years old, Christina performed in a school play and was noticed by a theatre critic and afterwards, she appeared in a couple of adverts. The family comedy-drama film ‘Mermaids’ was Ricci’s film debut in 1990, and she also performs in the film’s soundtrack ‘The Shoop Shoop Song’s music video. The following year, she was cast in ‘The Addams Family’ portraying Wednesday Addams, reprising the same role in its 1993 sequel ‘Addams Family Values’.

From then to date, she starred in 46 films of different genres, one of which was produced by herself in 2002, named ‘Pumpkin’. She also lent her voice to 5 of these movies’ animated characters. Ricci is also expected to star in an upcoming sci-fi heist film named ‘The Dresden Sun’ as well as lend her voice to a character in another upcoming production named ‘Unplugged’. Apart from movies, Christina appeared in 21 TV productions, mainly series.
Besides acting, Ricci provided her voice in the track ‘Hell Yes’ by Beck, appears in 5 music videos, 2 video games, narrated 3 audio books and an audio podcast. She is also an active philanthropist, particularly with regards to organizations fighting against rape, abuse and incest.
