English actor Alfred Thomas Highmore was born 32 years ago in Camden Town, London and is married.
Freddie first attended an infant and junior school until he was 11 years old, then he went to a private school after obtaining a scholarship. He was a very bright student and got ‘A’ grades in many subjects, both in the GCSE as well as ‘A’ Levels. He proceeded to college and afterwards studied finance during the summer break. The following year, i.e. in 2012, Highmore worked as a Bank intern in Kuwait as well as in a law firm in Madrid, Spain, and even considered becoming a lawyer after he graduated.
Freddie’s acting career started in 1999 at just 7 years old with small TV roles, plus debuting on the big screen in a comedy film. In the 5 years that followed, he starred in several movies as well as TV series, and made his career breakthrough when he interpreted the character of Peter Llewelyn Davies in the film ‘Find Neverland’, for which he received several nominations and awards.
In the past 2 decades, Highmore proceeded with his career and performed in about 18 films, some of which he voiced animated characters. He also starred in several TV series, movies and shows. These include ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’, ‘A Good Year’, ‘The Spiderwick Chronicles’, ‘The Art of Getting By’, ‘The Journey’ and ‘Almost Friends’. ‘The Good Doctor’, which began in 2017 and is still running, apart from starring in it, he is also its executive producer.
During his career so far, Freddie received 12 awards out of 47 nominations, including a Satellite, a Saturn, an Empire, a Young Artist and a People’s Choice, amongst others.
