American actress Courtney Thorne-Smith was born 57 years ago in San Francisco, California, is married and has a son.
Courtney’s acting career started in 1986 when she was given a role in the romantic comedy drama movie ‘Lucas’ in which also starred Charlie Sheen, Corey Haim and Winona Ryder.
From the middle of the 80s until the early 90s, Courtney acted in several other movies and TV series like ‘Welcome to 18’, ‘Summer School’, ‘Side Out’. ‘Growing Pains’ and ‘L.A. Law’.
She achieved real success in 1992 when she starred in the soap opera ‘Melrose Place’ for 5 years. Afterwards, she played the character of Georgia Thomas in the TV series ‘Ally McBeal’ between 1997 and 2000. In between, she also starred in a TV movie named ‘Beauty’s Revenge’.
