Celine Marie Claudette Dion was born on 30th March 1968 in Quebec, Canada, is widowed and has 3 children.

Her career started as a teenager, when she immediately became a star by releasing several French-language albums in her native country. International fame arrived after winning a song festival in 1982 and the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest, representing Switzerland.

‘Unison’, her first English album, was released in 1990, after Celine had learnt the English language. In the following years, numerous albums were issued, which included worldwide number one hits like ‘The Power of Love’, ‘My Heart will go On’, ‘Think Twice’ and ‘It’s all coming back to me Now’, to name a few.  She also released albums in her native language, French which were equally successful.  From 2003 to 2007, she gave highly successful live performances at the Caesar’s Palace Hotel in Las Vegas.  Celine is currently doing the ‘Courage’ World Tour which commenced in 2019 and is programmed to end in July 2023.

Globally, Dion’s records sold over 200 million copies, and she is considered as one of the best music artists of all time, and was, in fact, honoured with 5 Grammy Awards and two honorary doctorates in music degree.
