American singer and actress Taylor Dayne was born 63 years ago as Leslie Wunderman in New York City, never married but has twins through a surrogate.
After Taylor graduated from high school, she performed with a couple of rock bands and embarked on a solo career after ending college in 1985. That same year, she released her debut single followed by a second one the year after.
Dayne rose to fame in 1987 with the track ‘Tell it to my Heart’, which was a number one hit in some European countries including Germany and Switzerland. The following year, her debut album came out, and featured ‘Tell it to my Heart’ and 3 more hit singles: ‘Prove Your Love’, ‘I’ll Always Love You’ and ‘Don’t Rush Me’ which peaked to number 7, number 3 and number 2 respectively on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. From then to date, Taylor had 4 more studio albums, 8 compilations, 1 EP, 24 singles and 11 music videos.
Apart from music, Dayne is also an actress and has appeared in 9 movies and 21 TV series/talent shows.
